How does the India society diversify
Indian society diversifies itself in very many different ways. The most common include the cultural and economic diversification. In addition to that we have the religious diversification. Urbanization plays a key role to the diversification of Indian society. People in urban areas mainly rely on the service sector for their daily needs and services unlike those in the rural areas that mainly rely on agriculture for survival. This growth in population in urban areas results in the magnificent growth of the service sector leading to a major diversification in the economy.

How is woman status in India
Though status of women in India differs from one city to another, they are still treated secondary to their male counterparts. Southern cities like the Gujarat treat women badly unlike their northern counterparts who are relatively fair to them like the city of Tamilnadu. Even though the Indian government has invested a lot in the economic and social development of women for the last twenty years, the gap between the south and north is still big in their treatment of women due to the different cultures and tradition.

Does economic development improve womens status
Though closely related, economic development does not automatically result to an improvement in the social status of women. It is able to achieve high social status for women with very little economic growth. Some cities in India have great economic growth which doesnt enhance any social status for women. This is because they hold dear to their hearts the traditional norms and cultures that look down upon women. But those cities that have little economic growth yet their culture give their women more freedom result in improved social status.

How did urbanization develop in India
Urbanization in India came up as a result of trade in agricultural and other commodities among the different people. The entrance and exit points became the urban centers. Later on governance, worship and security regions developed into urban areas. Invention of industrialization boosted urbanization as it encouraged trading with other countries hence forming more urban centres that were mainly determined by the census official.

Does India have a primacy problem in its population distribution
Yes. Urban areas are densely populated as compared to the rural areas which are sparsely populated. As a result, there is a sharp contrast in the standard of living among the different cities which reduces the quality of life among the city dwellers.

What are urban problems in India
An increase in urbanization in India has led to a rapid increase of population in the cities. As a result, it is so difficult to improve the quality of life in the areas. Some cities like Bombay are packed to capacity to the point that even population increase through births is unbearable. The increase in population makes the expansion of there infrastructure next to impossible. Housing infrastructure has totally been compromised leading to an emergence of slums. India is also experiencing water shortages. In addition, urbanization has led to shortage of water as a result of high demand. These along with poor sewerage facilities and air pollution are major problems facing India.
