HR Contracts
InnovIT will have an employment contract and confidentiality contract. The employment contract contains the following information   The legal company name, the legal name of the employee, the date when employment will begin, pay andor benefits, work hours, holiday entitlement and holiday pay, job title and brief description of work, policies and conditions relating to sickness, injury and sick pay, the period of employment (permanent, temporary, fixed term), notice periods, collective agreements with trade unions, pension entitlement, and dismissal, disciplinary and grievance procedures. It is ethical to have an employment contract, because it provides both employer and employees the satisfaction that there is relative or long-term source of job security, because it means that InnovIT and employees will surrender their at-will rights, wherein InnovIT cannot terminate employees at will, and employees cannot also resign at will. Furthermore, it also ethical to have an employment contract, because it clarifies the expectations of the company from employees, and vice-versa.

InnovIT will also have a confidentiality contract. This is greatly critical to an information company, because information can easily be stolen and shared in the digital and Internet age. The contract seeks to guarantee that the confidentiality of company and individual information is protected and that InnovIT depends on its employees to keep information confidential, unless the companys preceding written approval has been gained. It includes information on intellectual property, security checks and outside interests, as well as policies about conflict of interests and guidelines on how they can be identified and resolved. It is ethical to have a confidentiality contract, because the company wants to protect its intellectual property (IP) rights. At the same time, InnovIT wants to assure its employees that it also seeks to protect its private information against possible intruders and malicious users.

InnovIT will have the following HR forms application forms, personal information form for all employees, annual leave forms, termination forms, benefits forms, grievances forms, and training request and evaluation forms. The application forms will include information about the skills, education, and professional and voluntary experiences of applicants. It will be ethical to have this form, because it will help to objectively evaluate the competencies of the candidates for vacant job positions. The personal information form will be filled out by all employees, which will include their addresses, interests, contact numbers, job titles, and work hours. It will be ethical to have this form, because it will include basic information that will help the company reach the employee, as the need arises. Also, it compiles basic information for documentation purposes. The annual leave forms will contain target dates of leave and reasons. It is ethical to have this form, because it will help the company determine the workforce schedules, and it will ensure that there are enough people to service customers, and additionally, to make certain that the remaining employees will not be overworked, because too many of their co-workers are on leave. Termination forms will be a template for resignation and employer-initiated termination (within legal boundaries). InnovIT will have HR policies on the following concerns Discrimination and Harassment, Diversity  Institutional Equity, Staff Development, Benefits, Performance management, Workplace Health  Safety, Recruitment, Hiring,  Transferring, Written Data Privacy, and IT usage. Discrimination and harassment policy will describe what discrimination and harassment are, and the guidelines in making complaints. It is ethical to have this policy, because it sends the message that the company will not tolerate discrimination and harassment at the workplace. Diversity  Institutional Equity policy includes definitions of diversity and equity and how they are translated at work. This is an ethical policy, because it seeks to promote genuine diversity and equity. Staff Development policy includes the guidelines for trainings and educational needs, as well as career progression policies. It is ethical to have this policy, because it explains what employees can do in order to pursue professional development. Benefits and Performance management policies define guidelines for those who can receive benefits and how they can be obtained, while performance management provides rules on how performance is measured and rewarded. Innovation and creativity are integral to the performance management policy. These policies are ethical because they express the benefits available and how performance is evaluated. These policies also reduce doubts of subjectivity and discrimination. Workplace Health  Safety policy includes guidelines on promoting health and safety and assistance for company-related accidents. This is ethical, because it encourages the staff to sustain and maximize their health, since doing so can enhance personal well-being and work performance. Recruitment, Hiring,  Transferring policies include practices for these HR actions. This is ethical, because it provides objective guidelines that prevent unethical HR practices. Written Data Privacy policy includes personal information needed to deliver company product or service, as well as for marketing new products. It also identifies the employees responsible for implementing data policy and dealing with consumer data issues. This is ethical because employees and customers should both understand the uses of written data. IT usage policy includes the limits and control of access to proprietary company data and information, protection of the data privacy rights of varied stakeholders, employee monitoring, use of pirated software, inappropriate use of IT resources, and protection of the security of IT resources. This policy is ethical, because it seeks to protect the interests of the company, without infringing on privacy rights of the employees.
